Wine from the highest land of Ribera del Duero.
"It's proof of the enduring life that Tempranillo grapes from bush-trained vineyards can have. The harvest is done by hand, selecting each bunch individually upon arrival at the winery."
The “La Yunquera” and “Fuentepinedo” estates are located in an oak forest area. The vineyards are situated between 850 and 900 meters above sea level. The vines are over 20 years old and planted at a density of 2,600 plants per hectare. The high-altitude terroir provides freshness.
No irrigation. Fertilized with sheep manure. Trellised for Albillo Mayor and bush vine for Tempranillo. Yield: 4,000 kg/ha, focused on balance and purity.
First week of October. Hand-harvested in 14 kg boxes, taking care of the integrity of the bunch from the vineyard to the winery to preserve the aromatic profile.
Fermentation with native yeasts to express the terroir. 48 months in barrels and a subsequent minimum of 48 months of bottle aging, which give this white reserve its distinctive character.
