Valduero 12 Years is a 100% Tempranillo from vines over 90 years old with yields of 1,500 kg/ha. Hand-destemmed, it ferments in 500L French oak barrels and is aged for 4 years in oak before resting for 8 years in the bottle . Deep and pure: black fruit, cocoa, and cedar with balsamic hints. On the palate, it is silky, powerful, and very long. A limited and numbered edition for collectors.

Wine from the highest land of Ribera del Duero.
"It's proof of the enduring life that Tempranillo grapes from bush-trained vineyards can have. The harvest is done by hand, selecting each bunch individually upon arrival at the winery."
Holm oak grove area of the "El Nogal" estate, clay and limestone soils. Vineyards over 40 years old located at two of the highest elevations in Ribera del Duero: 840–900 m. Density: 2,600 plants/ha.
Vineyard trained in a vase shape, without irrigation. Fertilization using sheep manure. Selection of plots seeking balance and the finesse of the high-altitude terroir.
First week of October. Hand-harvested in 14 kg boxes to preserve the grapes. Yield: 3,500 kg/ha, focused on freshness and aromatic precision.
Fermentation with native yeasts to express the terroir. Aged for 30 months in oak barrels from different origins and a minimum of 18 months in the bottle, refining texture and complexity.
